The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Wei in the 2nd minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 6th minute of play. Carhue were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petre Zărnescu took the corner. Angel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Hermansson in the 13th minute of the match. Mario Chago struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carhue. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Carhue's Mario Chago. But to his dismay, Mario Chago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Xu Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Mutumba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Angel Xacintu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute Mario Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carhue's Xu Wei in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vykans Vikingar's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leonardo Trancoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Angel Xacintu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent-Jan Kindermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Xu Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Carhue's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Angel Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Xu Wei sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Chago in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Leonardo Trancoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Egoitz came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
