Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Paulino Paião took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hamzah Taqi to make any attempt to save it. Rashed Al Shemali hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kuwait booed when Mosqueteiros 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Paião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Nafarroa in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi got control of the ball when Serafino Nafarroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Serafino Nafarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Nafarroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamzah Taqi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millano Almandoz in the 37th minute of play forced Kuwait's goalkeeper Hamzah Taqi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Serafino Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Amílton Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Serafino Nafarroa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi. Hamzah Taqi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Paião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Lucas in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Millano Almandoz made the kick off in the second half. Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Millano Almandoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamzah Taqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Amílton Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 57 minutes into the game, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Millano Almandoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamzah Taqi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 60th minute Millano Almandoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamzah Taqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamzah Taqi having to interfere. Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Kuwait's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Paião came free, but Hamzah Taqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Millano Almandoz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamzah Taqi saved Kuwait from getting behind. Amílton Lucas scored 6-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamzah Taqi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millano Almandoz in the 76th minute of play forced Kuwait's goalkeeper Hamzah Taqi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Paião in the 77th minute of play. Serafino Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Mosqueteiros 4EVER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
