Hamzah Taqi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millano Almandoz in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Paulino Paião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamzah Taqi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Millano Almandoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes Kuwait got a freekick which was hit by Faleh Al Adsani. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulino Paião in the 19th minute. It was a well-played corner which Serafino Nafarroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hamzah Taqi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Paião in the 23rd minute. Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Kuwait from getting a goal against them. Faleh Al Adsani was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Galsino in the 29th minute of play. Rodolfo Valadares hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Serafino Nafarroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamzah Taqi, 2-1. Hamzah Taqi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Galsino in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilio Galsino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hamzah Taqi. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Paulino Paião sped through Kuwait's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamzah Taqi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Millano Almandoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute Millano Almandoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamzah Taqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Habib Al Youha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Serafino Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Paulino Paião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eshaq Al Sarraf hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Nafarroa in the 84th minute of play. Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Paião, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Millano Almandoz sped through Kuwait's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hamzah Taqi. After 93 minutes, Eshaq Al Sarraf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuwait and the Mosqueteiros 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Eshaq Al Sarraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mosqueteiros 4EVER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
