Unión La Plata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LiBeRiA F.C. the free kick. Apolo Lleir hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Octavio Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Zhi Jian in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Patricio Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perrando Martínez Lamas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mei Zhi Jian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octavio Jerold. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Natalio Etxekopar hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Gaspar Muno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mei Zhi Jian. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Unión La Plata's goalkeeper Octavio Jerold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alonzo Bihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Unión La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Benito Matxin. Victorio Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Jerold having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Gilesindo to make the kick off. Octavio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Unión La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Hartz came free, but Octavio Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unión La Plata's Octavio Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilijano Kitanovski in the 57th minute of play. Patricio Nofre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Perrando Martínez Lamas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Octavio Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilijano Kitanovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Octavio Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Zhi Jian in the 73rd minute of the match. Octavio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Olayo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Perrando Martínez Lamas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión La Plata. In the 82nd minute Emilijano Kitanovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Unión La Plata booed when LiBeRiA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Unión La Plata getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Apolo Lleir hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Unión La Plata's Roberto Ezkerra got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Zhi Jian in the 95th minute of play forced Unión La Plata's goalkeeper Octavio Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that LiBeRiA F.C. were the better team. LiBeRiA F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
