BK Ljungsbro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saudi Pro Team City the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Åke Bock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Ljungsbro made a substitution. Lennart Eskilsson replaced Åke Bock. Marko Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younis Taqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Joacim Forsell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sameer Al Enzi during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Ljungsbro booed when Saudi Pro Team City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer Al Enzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Younis Taqi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marko Stålman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saudi Pro Team City. If Younis Taqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sharf Al Hindi during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Ljungsbro booed when Saudi Pro Team City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer Al Enzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Forsell took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bassam Al Hadad. Bassam Al Hadad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bassam Al Hadad made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Joacim Forsell sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Saudi Pro Team City's Fadhel Al Towatan got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Gråberg during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. BK Ljungsbro's Nils Gråberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fayez Al Dosery in the 56 minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Joacim Forsell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Ljungsbro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Marko Stålman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Younis Taqi in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Younis Taqi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saudi Pro Team City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Younis Taqi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bassam Al Hadad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Eskilsson in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Hamed Al Bloshi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saudi Pro Team City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
