Froilan Salvino made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leon Čorković sent off a good shot on target. Borko Šterger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Santo Beturian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borko Šterger. Banovci Polet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Santo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Banovci Polet booed when LA SCALONETA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Pugelnik to make the kick off. The corner ended in Nestor Salvino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Banovci Polet's Borko Šterger did a great save. Marin Lijović's late challenge caught a LA SCALONETA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
