Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Sampaio in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ediberto Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turgut Talha was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Timóteo Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes DeSTeRe got a freekick which was hit by Juan Čuk. 37 minutes into the match, DeSTeRe's goalkeeper Gazanfer Özcan Demirtaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Chamberlain. In the 39th minute of the match Club Deportivo Español got a corner. DeSTeRe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquin Hug ran over to the corner to take the kick. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gazanfer Özcan Demirtaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Timóteo Infante got free with Turgut Talha in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ediberto Sampaio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Turgut Talha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ye Quan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Vacid Nefer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Español fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of DeSTeRe booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Quan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyd Kutkan in the 95th minute of play. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Jaunzuria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Deportivo Español were victorious despite being under pressure from DeSTeRe for much of the match.
