The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Vilaverde in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignatius Casasola saved Garanhão do SUL from getting behind. Amedeo De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatius Casasola having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Amedeo De Matteis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola. Ignatius Casasola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Delta FS's Ignatius Casasola threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andaka Mula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Delta FS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Cavaco in the 20th minute. André Roriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Roriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Odin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Odin in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignatius Casasola saved Garanhão do SUL from getting behind. After 32 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Lobato. In the 33rd minute of the match Hélder Cavaco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignatius Casasola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gualter Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torcato Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. Marcus Odin in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignatius Casasola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo De Matteis in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Roriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Odin in the 50th minute of play. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andaka Mula in the 55th minute of play. Edgar Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gualter Roriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Tepedino hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Akis Kefallinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Kefallinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaka Mula in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Odin. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's Angel Edorta was substituted for 龙然明. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Marcus Odin got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Andaka Mula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delta FS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andaka Mula in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Delta FS's Marcus Odin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delta FS's Gualter Roriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Delta FS from getting a goal against them. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Vilaverde in the 81st minute of play. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo De Matteis in the 82nd minute of play. Gualter Roriz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Albano Leizarraga sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Delta FS had played much better football throughout.
