But to his dismay, Baykan Sönmez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Baykan Sönmez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatius Casasola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience was convinced that Baykan Sönmez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignatius Casasola was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Latif Bican blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignatius Casasola having to make a save. After 39 minutes of play, Los Valientes's Baykan Sönmez made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Edgar Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garanhão do SUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efim Fedotov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 46 minutes, André Roriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Roriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baykan Sönmez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Jamilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatius Casasola having to interfere. André Roriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Fedotov having to interfere. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola got control of the ball when Baykan Sönmez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes in the game, Zbyszko Tomiczek fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ignatius Casasola having to interfere. Los Valientes's Efim Fedotov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 70th minute of play. Zbyszko Tomiczek kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Zbyszko Tomiczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Valientes's Meng Jie Chong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angel Edorta, made in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Los Valientes's Baykan Sönmez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykan Sönmez. In the 85th minute Albano Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efim Fedotov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Meng Jie Chong dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignatius Casasola, 0-6. Efim Fedotov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obafemi Fabiani in the 89th minute of play. The Garanhão do SUL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Valientes's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Valientes.
