Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iurie Ilie in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bektaš Gudelj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bektaš Gudelj made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sandu Vasiliu sent off a good shot on target. Arsenal Giulesti were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Krnjace's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Lazãr took the corner. Arsenal Giulesti's Ilie Lazãr was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bektaš Gudelj in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sandu Vasiliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Bektaš Gudelj made a huge save. When Igor Damirović fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krnjace's protests and gave Igor Damirović a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Krnjace getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Igor Damirović hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Arsenal Giulesti's Vali Barbăsură got a free kick in the 17th minute. Iurie Ilie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bektaš Gudelj came out and tried to block the shot, but Iurie Ilie slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Sandu Vasiliu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Bektaš Gudelj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Krnjace getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Damad Stojković hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Iurie Ilie rounded Krnjace's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damad Stojković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bektaš Gudelj made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sandu Vasiliu sent off a good shot on target. Krnjace's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Sandu Vasiliu scored to the left of an out of position Bektaš Gudelj, making the score, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iurie Ilie in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bektaš Gudelj saved Krnjace from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Vasiliu got free with Bektaš Gudelj in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Sandu Vasiliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bektaš Gudelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arsenal Giulesti's Iurie Ilie in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Krnjace's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Arsenal Giulesti's Vali Barbăsură dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandu Vasiliu was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Iurie Ilie sped through Krnjace's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bektaš Gudelj. 55 minutes into the match, Krnjace's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Ilie came free, but Bektaš Gudelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bektaš Gudelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Ilie in the 58th minute of play. When Arsenal Giulesti's Iurie Ilie in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandu Vasiliu scored 9-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bektaš Gudelj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Iurie Ilie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Bektaš Gudelj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Iurie Ilie put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bektaš Gudelj. 12-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Sandu Vasiliu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Sandu Vasiliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Giulesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Vasiliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damad Stojković, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Muhamed Kesinović fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Krnjace's protests and gave Muhamed Kesinović a yellow card for diving instead. Muhamed Kesinović hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Arsenal Giulesti got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Vasiliu.
