Vitå's Stig-Åke Bennet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damad Stojković in the 3rd minute of play. Karl-Michael Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bektaš Gudelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krnjace the free kick. The supporters of Krnjace booed when Vitå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Kinell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Bennet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Muhamed Kesinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Krnjace getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Damad Stojković hit a great ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Krnjace's goalkeeper Bektaš Gudelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Åke Bennet made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Muhamed Kesinović sent off a good shot on target.
