In the 3rd minute, Guido Vissenaeken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Oskar Svensson. The goal made the score 1-0. After 9 played minutes ❤07 AKSEKİ SPOR❤ got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bezerra. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jaspar Van Den Broeck hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Golaki Kafadar came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Golaki Kafadar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vítor Baia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Askanios Kefalas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ❤07 AKSEKİ SPOR❤'s supporters rose to their feet, but Askanios Kefalas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Baia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Oskar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 21st minute of play. Ümit Karan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Per-Oskar Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Vissenaeken's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Brugge United's attentive Sandro Gaúcho managed to snatch the ball when Gwidon Okropny made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. After 35 played minutes Brugge United got a freekick which was hit by Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Per-Oskar Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Vissenaeken's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Vissenaeken to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Bezerra in the 54th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Guido Vissenaeken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Vissenaeken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Oskar Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnauld Van Impe's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Oskar Svensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Per-Oskar Svensson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe. But to his dismay, Arnauld Van Impe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Siddhartha Cabeza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Baia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Per-Oskar Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ümit Karan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
