Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Teodosio Lop made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Melander in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Guib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Cresconio in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Maiorga saved U21 Argentina from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Melander in the 11th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Melander in the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Teodosio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Guib came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Argentina's Karl-Michael Melander. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Melander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. U21 Argentina's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Cresconio in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Balasi during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Balasi. Arturo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the La Zabaleta defense, Karl-Michael Melander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Guib. The La Zabaleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Guib should have stopped the shot. Urbano Balasi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Guib having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Melander during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of La Zabaleta booed when U21 Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Melander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Karl-Michael Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Melander made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Argentina the free kick. In the 51st minute, Lorenzo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 52 minutes, Rayan MacQueen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rayan MacQueen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albino Maiorga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Lop in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Karl-Michael Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. U21 Argentina's Geronimo Raitin was substituted for Karl-Michael Melander. Arturo Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Geronimo Raitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. U21 Argentina made a substitution. Arnaldo Ortega replaced Rayan MacQueen. 5-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Geronimo Raitin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Ondino during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geronimo Raitin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Guib having to make a save. Arturo Guib was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Geronimo Raitin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the U21 Argentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Raitin couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Zabaleta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Argentina.
