When Romário Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caveira SC's protests and gave Romário Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caveira SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Romário Ramos hit a great ball. Oséias Vidal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Caveira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, William Trigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oséias Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Shawn Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rômulo de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Caveira SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo de Souza couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Caveira SC's zone, Wayne Tucker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Trigo came out of the goal and Wayne Tucker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caveira SC's Oséias Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Adelphi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Vidal came free, but Shawn Masters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Caveira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo de Souza scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shawn Masters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Rômulo de Souza made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Adelphi AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Rodolfo Nolan hit a great ball. Shawn Masters was a little too slow when Rômulo de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Oséias Vidal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 56th playminute. In the 64th minute, Wayne Tucker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Oséias Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Caveira SC's Rômulo de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Masters. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. Wayne Tucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Trigo having to interfere. Rômulo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Shawn Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hank Reid came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Adelphi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Reid couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséias Vidal got free with Shawn Masters in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94thth minute of the game Rômulo de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adelphi AFC's Shawn Masters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caveira SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
