With a little luck, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Armindo Maltez got control of the ball when Pilip Mikhailov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armindo Maltez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marat Lebedev, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The Belarus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svetaslav Navojka should have stopped the shot. The Real Brasília FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Romelio Lukaku looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Brasília FC - DMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
