In the 5th minute, Genaro Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Velez's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rioja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Oriol. Fulgencio Rioja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benedicto Oriol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rioja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Benedicto Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Wild Broncos Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Oriol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, AC Wild Broncos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Ferman came free, but Kristiaan Roulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Benedicto Oriol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Rioja. Benedicto Oriol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Fulgencio Rioja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Oriol's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Fulgencio Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristiaan Roulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Bittencourt in the 27th minute of play. Kristiaan Roulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 41 minutes into the game, Benedicto Oriol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Rioja. AC Wild Broncos Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaudencio Gotzon in the 46th minute. The corner led AC Wild Broncos Ψ's Gaudencio Gotzon to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulgencio Rioja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 64th minute, Benedicto Oriol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Rioja was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After having played for 67 minutes, Benedicto Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Velez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Rioja should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Oriol in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st match minute, Velez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. If Benedicto Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
