After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's zone, Arthur Clarke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Ireno came out of the goal and Arthur Clarke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Jacobo Garin replaced Cecilio Eli. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zumar Villabona to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Colas Valdueza got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Yin Wei Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The supporters of Hai Duong booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márk Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Márk Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Şenel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hai Duong's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Montes was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's players had a chance to rest. Igor Montes made a great header on C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's corner, it was just that Hai Duong's Osman Şenel managed to reach the ball for a save. Osman Şenel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Márk Stephen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
