Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marius Gherghe kicked off to start the match. Victor Dadi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Marius Gherghe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Nyamau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Vasco in the 11th minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Martin Chege recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Burni. Martin Chege showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Chege in the 15th minute of play forced Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Hurst Green got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Yiampoy. Peter Nyamau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Gherghe in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by McDonald Leakey to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Marius Gherghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Burni made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when McDonald Leakey sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when McDonald Leakey got free with Marcos Burni in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, Waitakere F.C.'s Marius Gherghe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Nyamau was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Hurst Green's Marcos Burni threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Chege, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, McDonald Leakey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurst Green's supporters rose to their feet, but McDonald Leakey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Hurst Green defense, Eduardo Vasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Nyamau. The Hurst Green fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Nyamau should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Nacho Scocco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waitakere F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo was substituted for Marius Gherghe. Waitakere F.C.'s Delmiro Oto was substituted for Eduardo Vasco.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adah Keter to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hurst Green's Malcolm Otieno got a free kick in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Nyamau. That made the score 1-6 after 60 minutes of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Nyamau. That made the score 1-8 after 68 minutes of play. Piara Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Peter Nyamau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piara Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Nyamau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Chuma Obondo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piara Santo. 84 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when McDonald Leakey came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hurst Green getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Malcolm Otieno hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Piara Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Peter Nyamau made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Waitakere F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
