Thanks to some nice moves Mwai Emilio Otieno could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Arsenio Cordeal however easily saved by the left post. 7 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fumo Canuto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to George Weahs Academy getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Francis Birir hit a great ball. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Guilherme Basso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fumo Canuto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenio Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Burgos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Guilherme Basso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of George Weahs Academy's Fumo Canuto. Fumo Canuto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franco Burgos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Arsenio Cordeal made a huge save. Riho Ringo made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plebeyos's Carlos Monzón. Arsenio Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mwai Emilio Otieno sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Plebeyos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Guilherme Basso made the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mwai Emilio Otieno, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Plebeyos defense, Franco Burgos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. The Plebeyos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Cordeal should have stopped the shot. Francis Birir made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Plebeyos's Kåre Uter. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Basso in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fumo Canuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenio Cordeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Burgos's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ngina Njoroge in the 66th minute of play. Franco Burgos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, George Weahs Academy's Ngina Njoroge made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Plebeyos made a substitution. Pedro Monzon replaced Carlos Monzón.
