In the 22nd minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo Capitalista's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Quirino came free, but Andreas Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edgard Mangueira hit a great ball. Andreas Hägglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Karl-Erik Magnusson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Schor in the 46th minute of play. The Deportivo Capitalista players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A Gryffindor were winning 0-1.

The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Deportivo Capitalista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Ur came free, but Chicão de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Capitalista's goalkeeper Andreas Hägglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Hägglund came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino. But to his dismay, Jacinto Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jacinto Quirino hit a great ball. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Ur in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Genaro Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Ur in the 72nd minute of play. C.A Gryffindor's Guilherme Mazer was substituted for Jacinto Quirino. C.A Gryffindor were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Deportivo Capitalista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guilherme Mazer took the corner. In the 82nd minute, Genaro Ur made a precise shot to the right of Chicão de Azevedo. C.A Gryffindor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Sergio Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Azevedo having to interfere. Andreas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Mazer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Deportivo Capitalista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Secco to maneuver through the defense.
