Niculae Romanescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thibault Delanoë went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lütfi Kutlubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ireneusz Jeleń, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Klich. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Klich got free with Lütfi Kutlubay in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Burak Onal in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Ireneusz Jeleń got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niculae Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 21st minute of the match. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ireneusz Jeleń in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Marco van Basten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lütfi Kutlubay. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Ireneusz Jeleń tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lütfi Kutlubay threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ireneusz Jeleń, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute Thibault Delanoë shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa were furious when Joélson Massa was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With an all-out effort, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lütfi Kutlubay threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michaël Guillot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ireneusz Jeleń stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lütfi Kutlubay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Burak Onal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu. Niculae Romanescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinei Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Romanescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michaël Guillot in the 61st minute of play. Marco van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Paulo José de Carvalho was substituted for Lucas Mancheño. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN made a substitution. Robertas Lewandowski replaced Ireneusz Jeleń. After some careless play in the Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa defense, Robertas Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lütfi Kutlubay. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lütfi Kutlubay should have stopped the shot. Thibault Delanoë could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Niculae Romanescu made a huge save. Lütfi Kutlubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velimir Bostandzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kamilo Glik in the 80th minute. Burak Onal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michaël Guillot in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lütfi Kutlubay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Thibault Delanoë hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
