Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Havertz in the 16th minute of the match. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Havertz in the 21st minute of play. After 21st play minutes Lino Rios shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Fabian Söderström and just under the crossbar into goal. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Fiszer didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Slaghmeulders in the 39th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramzi Drouart's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramzi Drouart to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Haithabu FC's zone, Lino Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Söderström came out of the goal and Lino Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Havertz in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Ramzi Drouart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haithabu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Söderström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Ramzi Drouart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzi Drouart came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramzi Drouart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Astigar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Jacinto Torres replaced Ramzi Drouart. After a rather tough play, Haithabu FC's Adrian Astigar got a free kick in the 78th minute. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haithabu FC's goalie prevented a goal.
