In the 6th minute Zumar Villabona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ngô Duy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Kostadinov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osman Şenel. Hai Duong's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ngô Tran's late challenge caught a Plebeyos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ngô Tran helped the player get up and apologised. Ngô Tran hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Osman Şenel came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso. But to his dismay, Guilherme Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Osman Şenel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Vergaray in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Hai Duong's goalkeeper Osman Şenel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Vergaray. After a rather tough play, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Hoang got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Guilherme Basso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Şenel. Hai Duong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Basso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Enzo Kusko put in a rough tackle. Arsenio Cordeal had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Đặng Hanh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zumar Villabona made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Guilherme Basso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 53 played minutes Hai Duong got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoang. In the 59th minute, Emil Kostadinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hai Duong's Osman Şenel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Vergaray in the 63rd minute of play. Osman Şenel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Vergaray in the 69th minute of the match. Osman Şenel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Clarke, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Clarke in the 74th minute of the match. Osman Şenel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Vergaray in the 75th minute of play. When Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hai Duong's goalie prevented a goal. Osman Şenel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Basso's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Zumar Villabona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hai Duong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plebeyos the free kick. After 88 played minutes Hai Duong got a freekick which was hit by Zumar Villabona. Plebeyos made a substitution. Paulino Diegotxe replaced Carlos Monzón. In the 91st minute, Emil Kostadinov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zumar Villabona came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hai Duong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zumar Villabona couldn't finish the play. Osman Şenel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Basso in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Plebeyos fully deserved thier win.
