Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 5th minute of play. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Ribas in the 8th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Aristide Ciuvică notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell. Hélio O'Connell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ettore Santo sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes, Andrea Mariani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maritek FC and the México Eterno MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrea Mariani kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Zarillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jailson Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ferruccio Zarillo sent off a good shot on target. When Diego Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the México Eterno MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Ribas couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristide Ciuvică to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Ribas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hélio O'Connell made a huge save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jailson Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Ribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio O'Connell having to interfere. Ferruccio Zarillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maritek FC made a substitution. Tomás Moita replaced Ferruccio Zarillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richart Richardsson got free with Hélio O'Connell in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Moita in the 76th minute of play. Hélio O'Connell made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Richart Richardsson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Moita in the 84th minute of play forced México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Ferraz in the 90th minute of play forced Maritek FC's goalkeeper Hélio O'Connell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Richart Richardsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélio O'Connell. Maritek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richart Richardsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. México Eterno MZC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
