In the 9th minute Alper Benli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sálvio Ramalho. Sálvio Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alper Benli sped through F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sálvio Ramalho. 18 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Benli came free, but Sálvio Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Mudura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Bomba in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's José Bomba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Mudura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantin Mudura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bóas Pernas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Constantin Mudura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, WZG Sandomierz's Zygmunt Jarmulowicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sálvio Ramalho. Sálvio Ramalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Sálvio Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Alper Benli. Constantin Mudura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Bomba went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Bomba was the one to do the kick off. A hard, long distance shot from Alper Benli flew over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Jarmulowicz came free, but Sálvio Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sálvio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alper Benli in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of F.C. Paços de Ferreira booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Tavukcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Mudura made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when José Bomba sent off a good shot on target. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sálvio Ramalho. Sálvio Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 73rd minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Jarmulowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sálvio Ramalho was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Mete Tavukcu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. WZG Sandomierz's Waclaw Bierfass was substituted for Alper Benli. Mete Tavukcu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sálvio Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. WZG Sandomierz's Constantin Mudura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save WZG Sandomierz from getting a goal against them. F.C. Paços de Ferreira were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after WZG Sandomierz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wiktor Miodek took the corner. 88 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Jarmulowicz came free, but Sálvio Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
