After a rather tough play, River LOA's Xacobo Santis got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of River LOA booed when Kalessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Pilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Rövşän Färruxov led 28 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. River LOA's Juan Eduardo Araya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Regis in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, River LOA's Chan Abeijon got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th match minute, River LOA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enric Malfanti to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Romildo made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Kalessin's Gonzalo Regis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Eduardo Araya. Juan Eduardo Araya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Simon Romildo succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Kalessin made a substitution. Han Sang Xing replaced Bram Bosman. After 63 played minutes River LOA got a freekick which was hit by Xacobo Santis. Kalessin's Saul Nicholas was substituted for Simon Romildo. 75 minutes into the match, Kalessin's Gonzalo Regis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Eduardo Araya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 1-5 became the score in the 77th minute when Han Sang Xing elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
