Jonathan Varela hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Venancio Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Xorxa F.C.'s Éder Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Bertol in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Toro Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éder Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, Xorxa F.C.'s Éder Mota got control of the ball when Venancio Bertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliott Pépin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Éder Mota made a huge save. Venancio Bertol succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. In the 37thth minute of the game Brion Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Fe's Shao Jing Yuan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Éder Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Rik in the 38th minute of play. Venancio Bertol took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éder Mota. Éder Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliott Pépin in the 54th minute of play forced Xorxa F.C.'s goalkeeper Éder Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Xorxa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Bertol came free, but Éder Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Éder Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliott Pépin in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goalkeeper Shao Jing Yuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brion Garcia. David Reyes's late challenge caught a Santa Fe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Reyes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xorxa F.C.'s David Reyes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shao Jing Yuan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Brion Garcia sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Venancio Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Éder Mota. Xorxa F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Santa Fe's Toro Murillo in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xorxa F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Javier Silva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shao Jing Yuan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Toro Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éder Mota. Xorxa F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Xorxa F.C. made a substitution. Ilixo Idiaquez replaced Javier Silva. Éder Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Rik in the 78th minute of play. Joel Abrego might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shao Jing Yuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Abrego ran back to his position shaking his head. Éder Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Julián Dean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Julián Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
