Toro Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Willi Pförtner came free, but Shao Jing Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Bertol to maneuver through the defense. Shao Jing Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willi Pförtner in the 18th minute of the match. Teddy Remus hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ferit Simoneit hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ferit Simoneit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Klingsmoos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Fe the free kick. A collision led to SV Klingsmoos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ferit Simoneit hit a great ball. Udo Gellrich made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Toro Murillo sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Santa Fe's Venancio Bertol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Udo Gellrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Klemens Kelm kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Willi Pförtner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Jing Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Fe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juliane Keßler was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Klingsmoos's players had a chance to rest. Edbert Scherbaum was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Shao Jing Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willi Pförtner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Willi Pförtner came free, but Shao Jing Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Willi Pförtner made the kick off in the second half. Shao Jing Yuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliane Keßler in the 57th minute. Udo Gellrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Fe's goalkeeper Shao Jing Yuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Toro Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Udo Gellrich. SV Klingsmoos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 73rd minute, Marcelo Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shao Jing Yuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Udo Gellrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Bertol's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Venancio Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udo Gellrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorsten Wexler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 95th playminute. Santa Fe were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SV Klingsmoos to leave the ground with a draw.
