The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Arthur Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Proteu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurdurão the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Meireles to maneuver through the defense. César Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tercero Segundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Proteu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Piacentini in the 11th minute. Rony Dudu scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute 毛明昆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Quirino having to make a save. César Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Abel Terra. In the 33rd match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Terra to maneuver through the defense. César Quirino came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Proteu's Rony Dudu. But to his dismay, Rony Dudu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tercero Segundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but Tercero Segundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gurdurão's César Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 毛明昆 in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gurdurão's goalkeeper César Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rony Dudu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when 毛明昆 came free, but César Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 毛明昆 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Proteu's Rony Dudu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind César Quirino. César Quirino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When Rony Dudu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Proteu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Dudu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gurdurão's Sandrinho Cabral got a free kick in the 55th minute. Proteu's Rony Dudu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Casimiro Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, 毛明昆 lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated César Quirino. 65 minutes into the game, Rony Dudu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. César Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rony Dudu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 68th playminute. After 71 minutes of play, Proteu's 毛明昆 made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rony Dudu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 74 minute of play. César Quirino was a little too slow when 毛明昆 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-9. Rony Dudu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute of the match, 毛明昆 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Quirino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 0-11 became the score in the 85th minute when Rony Dudu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, 毛明昆 notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Gurdurão's César Quirino. César Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Rony Dudu could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which César Quirino however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Tepedino to maneuver through the defense.
