With a left leg Oliver Kann saved WWW LENINGRAD from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, WWW LENINGRAD's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Maties came free, but Oliver Kann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bairoletto FC's Placido Maties slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliver Kann. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Maties was the one to do the kick off. Andrei Chikatilo's late challenge caught a Bairoletto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Chikatilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54thth minute of the game Placido Maties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WWW LENINGRAD's Oliver Kann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Filipp Abdullin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Bartolome in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Kann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aquiles Bartolome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WWW LENINGRAD's Oliver Kann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ívan Poddubnyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Demario having to make a save. 76 minutes into the game, Ren Feng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WWW LENINGRAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bairoletto FC the free kick. Oliver Kann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Ren Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bairoletto FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
