Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Kuntz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Lauro came free, but Till Geppert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hannover Reds's Till Geppert got control of the ball when Tomás Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Ben Labigne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Tajo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Till Geppert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Till Geppert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Tajo in the 41st minute. Arvid Kuntz's late challenge caught a Bairoletto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvid Kuntz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bairoletto FC booed when Hannover Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Kuntz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hannover Reds were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's Clodoveo Lauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Till Geppert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Geppert having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jonatan Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bairoletto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Millrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Paavo Burgdorf came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Hannover Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paavo Burgdorf couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Bairoletto FC defense, Ben Labigne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Demario. The Bairoletto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Demario should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hannover Reds's Arvid Kuntz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Marcus Bensch hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Domingo Roderigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Till Geppert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Roderigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Hannover Reds's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
