The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Recai Özbal kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dorinel Munteanu got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute Valdomiro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cumali Oykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Koçyiğit. Abelardo Diniz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Vecdet Koçyiğit. But to his dismay, Vecdet Koçyiğit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dorinel Munteanu got a free kick in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vecdet Koçyiğit sped through Tamboril's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abelardo Diniz. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Vecdet Koçyiğit got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdet Koçyiğit in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tamboril's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferhat Tan was slow to take the kick. During this time ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's players had a chance to rest. Diamantino de Barros tried in the game's 38th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Abelardo Diniz. An annoying self made goal, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuna Usun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdet Koçyiğit in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Leme got free with Cumali Oykan in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tamboril's Ulisses Antunes was substituted for Rupert McClure. In the 65th minute, Rafa Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Cumali Oykan. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Abelardo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vecdet Koçyiğit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Bueno's late challenge caught a ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Bueno helped the player get up and apologised. Rafa Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Rafa Bueno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Cumali Oykan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, José Vítor Lara notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Cumali Oykan. Cumali Oykan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Vecdet Koçyiğit got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If José Vítor Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zekai Asker hit a great ball. Cumali Oykan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Leme in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tamboril players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
