Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hannover Reds's Ben Labigne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Ben Labigne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hannover Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valdomiro Garcia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Ben Labigne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Abelardo Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Labigne came free, but Abelardo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Geppert having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tamboril defense, Ben Labigne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Diniz. The Tamboril fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Diniz should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Labigne in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Diniz saved Tamboril from getting behind. Abelardo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Kuntz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Rupert McClure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Geppert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Tamboril's Rupert McClure made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Till Geppert was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Labigne in the 39th minute of play forced Tamboril's goalkeeper Abelardo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Hannover Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paavo Burgdorf to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Garcia got free with Till Geppert in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Hannover Reds were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdomiro Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboril's zone, Paavo Burgdorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Diniz came out of the goal and Paavo Burgdorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Labigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Labigne in the 61st minute of play forced Tamboril's goalkeeper Abelardo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tamboril's Ulisses Antunes was substituted for Rupert McClure. Júlio Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Valdomiro Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hannover Reds's Till Geppert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdomiro Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Paavo Burgdorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Tamboril's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Kuntz came free, but Abelardo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hannover Reds booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute of the match, Ben Labigne tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abelardo Diniz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hannover Reds walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
