In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAJARRACO FC's goalkeeper Pancho Cevallos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chinto Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Hatman in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotomayor Pendones in the 13th minute of play forced PAJARRACO FC's goalkeeper Pancho Cevallos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When PAJARRACO FC's Roderik Callens, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for PAJARRACO FC. Sotomayor Pendoness short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Pancho Cevallos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sotomayor Pendones made a kick off. Chinto Espinoza was a little too slow when David Ozaolaza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Pancho Cevallos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotomayor Pendones in the 56th minute of play. Jorge Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Valenzuela in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chinto Espinoza saved U21 Ecuador from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Chinto Espinoza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When U21 Ecuador's Sotomayor Pendones in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAJARRACO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Chinto Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ozaolaza in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of PAJARRACO FC booed when U21 Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Portero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The U21 Ecuador supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PAJARRACO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for PAJARRACO FC.
