Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Veronica in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Incendio was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Gubbhöft's players had a chance to rest. BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Veronica. Isaac Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Hermansson in the 21st minute of the match. Fidel Veronica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Marcus Ekrot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Marcus Ekrot managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when BK Gubbhöft's Fidel Veronica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Gubbhöft's Jonas Ahlin. But to his dismay, Jonas Ahlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Mutumba was the one to do the kick off. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Veronica in the 54th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Leonardo Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Jonasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Tage Glanselius replaced Hugo Eden. BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist was substituted for Olle Björn. BK Gubbhöft's Sten Hydén was substituted for Jonas Ahlin. In the 70th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Holm to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 89th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mats Hermansson in the 93rd minute. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isaac Jonasson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Gubbhöft fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vykans Vikingar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
