The corner led Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Adrio Sobrido to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaj Gråberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tristan Franquis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Neymar in the 22nd minute of the match. After 27 played minutes US Albenga got a freekick which was hit by Christian Antonangeli. Kaj Gråberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrio Sobrido in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrio Sobrido in the 30th minute of play forced US Albenga's goalkeeper Kaj Gråberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Silvio Rainerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Kaj Gråberg made a huge save. Kaj Gråberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuele Egger charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Egger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kaj Gråberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtaz Teren in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, US Albenga's goalkeeper Kaj Gråberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Rainerio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Rainerio got free with Kaj Gråberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes US Albenga got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Neymar. Silvio Rainerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaj Gråberg having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, US Albenga's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Castulo came free, but Kaj Gråberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Beniamin Bara fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored US Albenga's protests and gave Beniamin Bara a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes US Albenga got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Bara. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
