Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basílio do Valle took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Mateus Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SE Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Pitta couldn't finish the play. Verne Kearney scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donny Winstanley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Sol Borrowdale made a huge save. Glyn Crowther hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Donny Winstanley hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Harlow AFC's Sol Borrowdale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio do Valle in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denzil Shakespeare in the 40th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Décio Peixoto. After the first half Harlow AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verne Kearney to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Agostinho Tepedino hit a great ball. In the 51st minute of the match Donny Winstanley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Verne Kearney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Dracena having to make a save. Nilson Dracena made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Denzil Shakespeare sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Perivaldo Salles hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Verne Kearney. 73 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Shakespeare came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Verne Kearney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 78th minute Denzil Shakespeare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Décio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Shakespeare came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Harlow AFC's Donny Winstanley got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donny Winstanley got free with Nilson Dracena in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Verne Kearney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Harlow AFC's Verne Kearney. But to his dismay, Verne Kearney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Harlow AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
