Nathanaël Teissier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 8th minute of the match. Feng Qian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Marc Cômet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Ulf Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Nathanaël Teissier. Elegance Dijon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Ulf Öfverman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nathanaël Teissier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Feng Qian made a precise shot to the right of Nathanaël Teissier. Elegance Dijon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adil Caruso in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Pires saved Brothers of Mercy from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Ulf Öfverman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nathanaël Teissier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Ulf Öfverman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ulf Öfverman scored 0-7 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nathanaël Teissier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elegance Dijon's Nathanaël Teissier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 45th minute of play. Thiago van Dijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Brothers of Mercy were furious when Jörn Matsson was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 51st minute, one of Brothers of Mercy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brothers of Mercy. Brothers of Mercy:s Alexandre Pires showed great skill when he stopped Mathieu Gaud:s penalty. Alexandre Pires came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elegance Dijon's Mathieu Gaud. But to his dismay, Mathieu Gaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 59 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Yann Guillemin came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ulf Öfverman made a precise shot to the right of Nathanaël Teissier. Elegance Dijon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Elegance Dijon were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Brothers of Mercy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathieu Gaud took the corner. Ulf Öfverman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathanaël Teissier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Esteves in the 73rd minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Alexandre Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Adil Caruso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Adil Caruso hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Adil Caruso. Nathanaël Teissier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 79th minute. If Feng Qian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Adil Caruso. Nathanaël Teissier stood somewhat misplaced when Ulf Öfverman came free in front of goal and shot 1-9 to the left of him in the 90 minute. Nathanaël Teissier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 94th minute of the match. Kilian Prévôt's late challenge caught a Brothers of Mercy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kilian Prévôt helped the player get up and apologised. The Elegance Dijon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brothers of Mercy's performance. The match ended with a win for Brothers of Mercy.
