Robert-Jan Hermensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Paulin in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Froilan Quinito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Robert-Jan Hermensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Silvano Paulin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Handi Harri in the 19th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper Faustino Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Quinito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Robert-Jan Hermensen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antonio Berbiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. NFC Eagles 22's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Froilan Quinito scored to the left of an out of position Robert-Jan Hermensen, making the score, 4-0. Giovanni Rademaker's late challenge caught a Las Palmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Rademaker helped the player get up and apologised. Giovanni Rademaker kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Las Palmas's Silvano Paulin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. After some careless play in the NFC Eagles 22 defense, Antonio Berbiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert-Jan Hermensen should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Gaspar Flores made a precise shot to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Faustino Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Rademaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Las Palmas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 58th minute, Horacio Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Handi Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Quinten having to interfere. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Berbiz took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Robert-Jan Hermensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Handi Harri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arjan Kun hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Antonio Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert-Jan Hermensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Saracchi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Paulin came free, but Robert-Jan Hermensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, Las Palmas's Antonio Berbiz made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert-Jan Hermensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Las Palmas had played much better football throughout.
