José Monteiro was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Cesinha Torres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesinha Torres really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ramón Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuca Cearense. In the 24th minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Teodoro Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Monteiro. José Monteiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Mário Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Torres in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Fabrício Raminhos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bembenfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SUPERSTAR - DMZ the free kick. SUPERSTAR - DMZ made a substitution. Jardel Araújo replaced Arnaldo de Amorim. After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Fabrício Raminhos got a free kick in the 41st minute. The supporters of SUPERSTAR - DMZ booed when Bembenfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabrício Raminhos made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Ramón Cosme got control of the ball when Fabrício Raminhos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramón Cosme came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Bembenfica's Ricardo Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Ricardo Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ramón Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Cearense in the 59th minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Cesinha Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SUPERSTAR - DMZ and the Bembenfica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bembenfica's Emanuel Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Medeiros in the 74th minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Raminhos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramón Cosme. That made the score 3-2 in the 80 minute of play. Teodoro Souza scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Torres in the 91st minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SUPERSTAR - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bembenfica for a fine match.
