When Valério Peres came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Misericordia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Peres couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Matamoros in the 21st minute of play. When Misericordia EC's Valério Peres in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Oinaz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Atletic Elooo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Tohias to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
