Radoslaw Charlap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Moritz Christe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radoslaw Charlap. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moritz Christe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Christe came free, but Radoslaw Charlap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Moritz Christe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid's Radoslaw Charlap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Academica Pulheim's Moritz Christe managed to work through Real Madrid's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Moritz Christe dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 20 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's Carsten Boy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radoslaw Charlap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pinkus Mack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Charlap having to interfere. Boguslaw Gongola charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boguslaw Gongola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moritz Christe in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radoslaw Charlap saved Real Madrid from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Christe in the 31st minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Radoslaw Charlap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academica Pulheim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malte Rastätter in the 33rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Ralph Wickede managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pinkus Mack sped through Real Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radoslaw Charlap. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Gomminginger got free with Radoslaw Charlap in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moritz Christe didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 40th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Moritz Christe ran dejectedly back to his position. Malte Rastätter kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Moritz Christe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Charlap having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klement Setara to strike the kick off in the second half. If Moritz Christe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moritz Christe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Radoslaw Charlap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoslaw Charlap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pinkus Mack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoslaw Charlap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moritz Christe in the 62nd minute of the match. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Florian Schulitz replaced Moritz Christe. In the 66th minute Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner. Malte Rastätter went to the cornerflag to take it. When Florian Schulitz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Radoslaw Charlap was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 71st play minutes Florian Schulitz shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Radoslaw Charlap and just under the crossbar into goal. Radoslaw Charlap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pinkus Mack in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zygmunt Tokarczyk during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Tokarczyk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schulitz in the 80th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Radoslaw Charlap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Florian Schulitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslaw Charlap was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Pinkus Mack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meinolf Rebe scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radoslaw Charlap, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academica Pulheim fully deserved thier win.
