With his leg Breno Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Polly Magoo Juniors's Henry Jonasson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Håkan Valrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Baptista having to interfere. Breno Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Bo Abbas in the 37th minute. Sérgio Azevedo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Roy Johnsson, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Breno Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Bo Abbas in the 57th minute of the match. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Jan-Erik Tunberg replaced Isak Stålman. Hjálmar Jónsson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 66 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Breno Baptista right hand side. A collision led to Polly Magoo Juniors getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hjálmar Jónsson hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg made a precise shot to the right of Breno Baptista. Club Athletico Paulistano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Hjálmar Jónsson's late challenge caught a Club Athletico Paulistano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjálmar Jónsson helped the player get up and apologised.
