In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paolo Obeko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Ríver Late's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ríver Late's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Jaime Ellande made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Adamski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adam Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Luke in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s zone, Leopoldo Jacinto Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Obeko came out of the goal and Leopoldo Jacinto Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Jacinto Luque dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paolo Obeko, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Jacinto Luque to make the kick off. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Ríver Late's Eskuin Lastras made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Obeko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ríver Late's Luís Dias was substituted for Silvério Vargas. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Paolo Musko hit a great ball. Jaime Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Adamski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Musko in the 64th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paolo Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paolo Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Musko in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Hellström to maneuver through the defense. Saul Luke shot from long distance in the 74th minute, but Adam Adamski was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Arturo Pirro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Adam Adamski made a huge save. Ciro Egger might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Obeko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Egger ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ríver Late fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletas Campesinos F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
