Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Sabrosa in the 16th minute of play. When Carpathian Wolves's Zheng Di Sha in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Proud FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iurie Bărboianu in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Pais saved Red Proud FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Zheng Di Sha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Vasconcelos during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 32 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Doru Opincaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Óscar Sabrosa in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Arghirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Carpathian Wolves's zone, Flávio Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicodim Arghirescu came out of the goal and Flávio Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iurie Bărboianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iurie Bărboianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Di Sha in the 46th minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Óscar Sabrosa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Iurie Bărboianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Iurie Bărboianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpathian Wolves's Zheng Di Sha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio Pais. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Zheng Di Sha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Nicodim Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Falcão in the 62nd minute of the match. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Proud FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zheng Di Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Carpathian Wolves's players had a chance to rest. Red Proud FC's Júlio Pais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Red Proud FC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Lázaro Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Zheng Di Sha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Di Sha in the 89th minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Júlio Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Juvenal Assis got a free kick in the 91st minute. A hard shot 93 in the game by Iurie Bărboianu from a close distance when the talented Júlio Pais managed to make a qualified save. Red Proud FC's players were relieved. Carpathian Wolves played a much better game than Red Proud FC and deserved their victory. The Red Proud FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
