The tension between the Ponta da Praia FC and the Zerozinho Youth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Meira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ponta da Praia FC booed when Zerozinho Youth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Carlos Meira rounded Zerozinho Youth's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Meira in the 17th minute of play forced Zerozinho Youth's goalkeeper Cacá Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cacá Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manoel Zanette went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Benjamim Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hermínio Gerber hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Hermínio Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ponta da Praia FC's Wiliam Santos got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zerozinho Youth's zone, Manoel Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Mattos came out of the goal and Manoel Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Linares hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Zerozinho Youth getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saturnino Macerio hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Zerozinho Youth's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Meira came free, but Cacá Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Bolli in the 40th minute of play forced Ponta da Praia FC's goalkeeper Silas Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Manoel Zanette notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Zerozinho Youth's Cacá Mattos. Cacá Mattos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manoel Zanette got free with Cacá Mattos in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiliam Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Merentiel made a kick off. Hermínio Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Barreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ponta da Praia FC booed when Zerozinho Youth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Merentiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Silas Guimarães made a huge save. Cacá Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Zanette in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Merentiel in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes Ponta da Praia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Moreira who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Ponta da Praia FC booed when Zerozinho Youth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Merentiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Hermínio Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Miguel Merentiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silas Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Manoel Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ponta da Praia FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
