Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Gimenez started the match with the kick off. Roberto Blue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Eneas charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Eneas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Eneas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Gimenez in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Laureano Gimenez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Blue in the 10th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buck Blue in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Ramiro Isusko made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Rius. West Town SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Tabossi's Benedicto Lauro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcelo Rius. In the 29th minute Damián Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Pallar hit a great ball. Marcelo Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Eneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Tabossi's Ramiro Isusko made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Rius was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Juan Manuel Macias got a free kick in the 45th minute. Marcelo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Lauro in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Eneas to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, West Town SC's Nery Pumpido threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Blue, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Tabossi's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Damián Blue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Eneas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tabossi's Armando Bondi was substituted for Ramiro Isusko. Tabossi made a substitution. Rolando Botello replaced Tadeo Eneas. Tabossi made a substitution. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Laureano Gimenez took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Nery Pumpido to make any attempt to save it. Tabossi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Bondi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macias Baldaliso during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Tabossi players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
