Hakan Ilıca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgay Sökmensu in the 16th minute of play. Karaelmas's Hakan Ilıca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Karaelmas from getting a goal against them. Turgay Sökmensu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Oniga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karaelmas's Ahmet Rıfat Özonder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucian Alexandrescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Andrei Rareș sped through Karaelmas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hakan Ilıca. Hakan Ilıca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Andrei Rareș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Urzicuța fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çeliker Vecih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Andrei Rareș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakan Ilıca. Karaelmas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Rareș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Karaelmas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Rıfat Özonder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hakan Ilıca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Oniga, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. After 99 minutes of play, FC Urzicuța's Andrei Rareș made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakan Ilıca was left in no man's land by his defense there!
