The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haritzeder Corneja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ignacio Donostia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Guillen Ubiña to make any attempt to save it. Mark Dahlberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Carl Utfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nardo Tuo in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Haritzeder Corneja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Utfal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match, Ignacio Donostia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillen Ubiña saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haritzeder Corneja in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Utfal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Ubiña should have stopped the shot. Sonstorps Fotboll's Carl Utfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xarles Gadañon in the 32nd minute of play. If Haritzeder Corneja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Domenico Deleyto got a free kick in the 38th minute. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Sonstorps Fotboll's Ignacio Donostia. But to his dismay, Ignacio Donostia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Haritzeder Corneja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Utfal having to interfere. Carl Utfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haritzeder Corneja in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haritzeder Corneja to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Haritzeder Corneja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Utfal was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vachon Camaño to maneuver through the defense. Sonstorps Fotboll walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
