Caco Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jithu Hee went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 5th minute, Ryan Tan made a precise shot to the right of Caco Furlan. Olímpico Blumenau FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mário de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Felix Amin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Khairul Paine made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Olímpico Blumenau FC's zone, Ryan Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Furlan came out of the goal and Ryan Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Paine in the 19th minute of play forced Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Caco Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Paine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Olímpico Blumenau FC got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Souza. Dieguinho Magalhães's late challenge caught a Redbourn AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieguinho Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Caco Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Tan in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Glauco Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Felix Amin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajeev Hian to maneuver through the defense. Khairul Paine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Ryan Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khairul Paine came free, but Caco Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Sajeev Hian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Caco Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Redbourn AFC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khairul Paine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário de Amaral came free, but Felix Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Mário de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Amin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Olímpico Blumenau FC defense, Khairul Paine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Furlan. The Olímpico Blumenau FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Furlan should have stopped the shot. Ryan Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário de Amaral came free, but Felix Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Glauco Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play Olímpico Blumenau FC's Dieguinho Magalhães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dieguinho Magalhães hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Sum to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Angelo Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Amin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Felix Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário de Amaral in the 81st minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Mário de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Felix Amin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Redbourn AFC's Felix Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário de Amaral in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan got control of the ball when Khairul Paine tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Olímpico Blumenau FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Breno Vianna hit a great ball. Ryan Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Caco Furlan made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Fariz Swee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Mário de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Felix Amin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Redbourn AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olímpico Blumenau FC throughout the match.
